I admit im no expert at logo design, and those who work on creating such designs will have more expertise than myself. These are designs which I liked first and foremost, i guess you are more qualified to say how good (or not they are.)
Simplicity is definately a strong point of a logo design and those ones jumped out for exactly those reasons :)

Not all of these are great, by any means, but there are some very good ideas.

Nice listing Jared, a few comments: MindView isn't that clear or concise…nor is 'Synthetic…” whatever it is(my point exactly), Garden Imagination is nice but doesn't make much sense and the white on the light blue makes it hard to read, Jaegers looks like more of type play than a logo… and Melodic Designs' earphone 'wings' dont make much sense either….. my favorite ones are the simplest ones…High Heat, the lightbulb tank, hot head, gym guide, and Energy International are all great. It's crazy to think of how many people there are doing the same work we do in all diff styles and such. Thanks for the posting Jared!

I would content the simplicity remark but at the same time I see what you are saying. Not going to lie my talent isn't near the talent of any of these designers you've featured. I can really only talk to the base elements of design and personal opinion, maybe a little of user reception(usability). :-)

Some great stuff, I particularly liked Snaga, Design Skins, and High Heat. These were some very well done, and skillfully executed logo designs!
