Comics have entered our lives at one stage or another, whether you were the (lets face it ‘geeky kid’) who would rush down to the comic book store/ local store to collect their latest comic. Comics lure us all into an imaginary world which our imaginations run wild and a comic artist really bring its artist skills to the fore. Ironman is a marvel comics creation and was first released onto the news stands in comic form back in 1963. It stars Anthony “Tony” Edward Stark in the lead role as an ingenious engineer who’s severe heart injury forces him into building his body into a suit of amour. The first film adaptation of the comics was released under great success with Robert Downey Jr in the lead role. The Second Iron Man hit the screens this year and looks set to get similar success, with lead roles featuring; Terrance Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow.
