Miss Fay works predominantly in ink and watercolour exploring the hand drawn mark combined with word play, dainty lines and a mischievous sense of humour. She is known for her degree project centred around the “naked nanas”, exploring mortality, morality and saggy boobies.
Her lifelong artistic influences range from Egon Schiele to Quentin Blake. Miss Fay is a book nerd, always with one or more book in progress. Miss Fay is also currently volunteering in schools, finding inspiration in the children she works with and firmly believes children say and draw the funniest things. Miss Fay, being a self confessed big kid, is of course very excited to have her most recent illustration “fox puzzle” selected to feature in Anorak Magazine’s Summer Games issue in July 2013.
