Estefani Bravo is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer living in Santiago, Chile. She started her career as a graphic design student at Inacap University. She discovered her passion for illustration and animation working with the audiovisual group at BITLS animation studio. As an animator there she developed television series’ for national channels such as Cartoon Network.
Estefani uses digital paint, acrylics, watercolors, and pencils. She works on Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash. Her influences include Mary Blair, Jim Flora, Oliver Jeffers, Tim Biskup, Gary Baseman, animations from Hanna Barbera, and television shows like Kablam!, Regular Show, Adventure Times and Ren and Stimpy.
As an illustrator who can navigate between multiple styles, she has now turned her focus to children’s illustration where he feels most comfortable. Currently she is working with Storypanda Digital Publishing to illustrate interactive kids books for the iPad. Her first illustrated book is titled “Lucy’s First Flight” and is about a goose that discovers some of the world’s greatest landmarks on her way South for the winter. Outside of work she spends her time on new animation projects, linocut, illustration and painting.
