Fee Sheal is a graduate of Edinburgh Napier University’s BDes Hons Graphic Design course. So far see has worked on placements at stv Creative (Scotland’s version of ITV) the Weather Digital and itison as well as a weeks work with D&AD.
‘I’m trained in all areas of Graphic Design, from typography to branding and print but I focus primarily on Motion Graphics. I like to combine as many of my skills as possible in projects so can often be found creating, mixing and editing audio for my animations, shooting live action sequences or dabbling in a bit of photography. I’ve experimented in all areas of Motion Graphics including live action, green screen and stop motion but mainly focus on After Effects based 2D animation (until I teach myself Cinema 4D!).
I take inspiration from everywhere and feel my love for unsigned music really drives my creativity. I love title designers such as Kyle Cooper and of course Saul Bass and works from studios such as Digital Kitchen and Nexus.’
‘I’ve had a wee bit of industry experience already, with placements at The Weather Digital, stv Creative, itison and most recently a week’s work with D&AD in London. Currently I’m in that in between space between University and my first break into the design industry and I’m looking for some freelance work or someone to take me on and give me that first foot on the design ladder!’
