‘I work in a lot of mediums and my ‘style’ changes to suit the brief, but the one thing I always try and keep in all my pieces is a strong narrative element and humour. I just did an 8 and a half minute animation for my final major project and looking to do more animating in the near future.
Inspiration for me comes in many ways – may it be in film, a book or just walking through the high street on my way to work. I am currently really digging the work of Jean Jullien, Josh Cochran and Luke Best – their simple and unsophisticated line work as well as their strong composition is what draws me to their pieces.’
‘I am currently working with a Brighton based theatre company and doing some illustrations for them and on the side I am working on a personal project called “Heroes” which is an autobiographical series of pieces which go through the many heroes and idols I have had through my life so far and explore how that has shaped the current me.’
