A graduate of The Arts University at Bournemouth, Natasha Durley was named a Best of Year winner in the 2012 D&AD Student Awards (and shortlisted for the 2013 AOI Illustration Awards) she now works for MP-Arts.
Natasha is clearly inspired by the wonderful world of colour, with her playful illustrations often featuring unusual landscapes, the natural world and quirky characters. She creates her work through a combination of paper cut outs, charcoal, pastels, the computer, blood, sweat and multiple cups of tea. Inspiration comes in many forms, however the vast majority comes from listening to new music, watching far too many documentaries and simply getting outside and enjoying nature.
After graduating from The Arts University at Bournemouth, Natasha was named a Best of Year winner in the 2012 D&AD Student Awards and was recently shortlisted for the 2013 AOI Illustration Awards. She has worked with many respected clients including The Architectural Review, Nobrow, YCN and Wrap magazine. Alongside her Illustration practice, Natasha is a visiting tutor at The Arts University at Bournemouth, running workshops and evening classes.
Natasha has recently joined London based Illustration agency MP-Arts and has some exciting plans for 2014. For a start, she is currently experimenting with translating her work onto textiles.
