‘I have had a pretty varied upbringing and working life, schooled in France and England after which I’ve lived and worked in Portugal, France and back here in the U.K. I’m now 23 and graduated from Shillington College in London. I always had a desire to do something with design but didn’t want to do university, so Shillington was ideal.
More recently I’ve just finished an internship with Designer’s Anonymous, in London which was brilliant, getting the chance to work on various different projects. Now I’ve got a couple more things in the pipeline, both here and abroad.’
‘I’m currently in the process of setting up my online shop on my website, where I am looking to sell some of my designs. I don’t expect to sell out of anything any time soon! but am really excited of actually being able to get my work to people out there and I think an online shop is a must. So I guess its the old line of “watch this space” (and maybe fill it!?)
I’m also working with my brother who has just set up building custom bicycles (Sturdy Cycles) near his home in Wales. Being able to be involved in this has been really interesting. I recently developed a logo with badges for the bikes for him and am in the process of getting his website up and running. I have really enjoyed being involved with a small startup business from the outset and have discovered that you can mix family and work… well, so far!’
