‘I design exclusive pattern collections for high-end apparel and home decor manufacturers looking for a particular take on current trends. I enjoy working with colors and patterns, I look for patterns and repetitive motifs in everyday places and things.’
‘I am a passionate textile designer currently living in Ohio, but I grew up in Colombia, where I obtained my degree of Textile Design from the Universidad de los Andes. Later, I attended the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy, where I obtained my diploma in Fashion Design. After returning home, I worked as a textile coordinator for a textile manufacturer, creating print collections for the apparel market. On the side, I started teaching a design class at the Universidad de Los Andes, which in time developed into three different courses that involved fashion design and different drawing classes.
I currently supply patterns for the high-end apparel market working as a freelancer and would like to engage in new projects within the home decor market as well. My sources of inspiration vary from following major fashion trends to different art expressions from other cultures found in my trips abroad, to a playful game with basic geometric shapes and a fascination with nature.’
