‘I spent half a year on exchange studying at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. During my study I focused on typography, editorial design and print design. Designing colourful books and magazines is my passion and makes me happy.’

‘I spent the last few months exploring the use of typography within my work. I recently created two Type Specimens for Metro Nova and Trade Gothic Next for the ISTD 2014 submission scheme. Both focus on user interactivity. The Metro Nova specimen concept is based around the quote “A masterpiece lost, found and reimagined”. The user has to “find” the letter forms for themselves by matching up the two sets of cards. Each card showcases a letter of the alphabet in one of the 26 weights. This project passed the assessment scheme, resulting in me becoming a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers (MISTD).

Having recently graduated, I hope to gain employment within a design studio in order to refine my typographic and editorial design skills.’
