‘When I’m working you can usually find me sitting in a pile of coloured paper pieces, organised chaos and chaos. I love to work with paper and spend my time bringing it to life through cut-out animation and colourful collage.

I graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in illustration. While I was at university I got to spend a year abroad studying at the University of Michigan in the USA where I picked up some animation skills and started working with stop-frame animation. A sense of hands on fun drives my work and I pull on tactile, hand made influences. I think the things you can do with your own hands have a kind of charm that I love. I strive to create things that can make people smile and laugh. If I’ve brightened someone’s day then I’m happy.’
