Charlotte Titterton graduated Nottingham Trent University in 2014 with a BA (HONS) in Textiles Design, specializing in printed textiles. Prior to this she completed a HND in clothing and textiles where she discovered her love for making.
‘After her recent graduation Charlotte went on to have her work exhibited at New Designers London. She showcased her final collection ‘Northern Lights’ inspired by Scandinavian atmospheric landscape. The collection was themed to move from light to dark working on a range of surfaces from silks to leathers. Following New Designers she completed a placement within a swatch studio where she assisted with the design process and make up of the swatches. After completing the placement she decided to pursue her dream of creating her own label.
Blossom and Ivy was created to allow her to design and create products she loves. Charlotte has always been inspired by the natural world around her and her love of animals. Along with this, the artist Jessica Zoob inspires her.’
‘Charlotte is particularly inspired by the texture she builds in her paintings and the beautiful emotions captured in her work. Charlotte’s work centers her hand painted textural style with digital fabric printing to capture the detail in the artworks.
Charlotte is currently working on products for her Etsy shop and craft markets. In the future she plans to grow her label and find stockists for her products.’
