‘At uni I this term I have been set 2 projects, a editorial and rebranding project. I had 3 weeks for each one so I needed to produce high quality work within a quick turn around time so lots of pressure! With my editorial project I decided to create some ‘glitch art’ which means editing the lines of coding in a normal JPEG image to create a gltiched pixelated design. This was time consuming but defintiely worth it due to the exciting final outcome!
For my rebranding project I decided to rebrand the courier and delivery company CityLink as its brand identity is quite dated and I felt needed updating. This was a gripping project that I loved doing I ended up creating over 50 different logo designs and created mobile application and website designs too. I also recieved feedback from the managing director or CityLink on my final designs
which was hugely helpful.’
‘One of my favourite graphic designers is the great Josef Muller-Brockmann. His designs showed that minimalism, the use of negative space and the pure simplicity of type can be more aesthetically pleasing to look at than complicated, intricate and overthought design.
I’m currently doing freelance graphic design work for two different companies and a few different clients but am always avaliable for work opportunities!’
