‘When I was a little girl at primary school, I was always a little young fashion hunter. I loved to invite my friends over to my house and transform their style. It was more than a game for me, improving their look and changing their total image. Working on beauty treatments, hairstyles and ending with a great outfit. I also played around with fabric, draping around their body trying to create new shapes and interesting garments. It was from that moment that my mum noticed my passion and innate skills in wanting to improve women’s image and style.’
‘I started my Fashion studies at the age of 16 with my first tailor course as hobby and moved to Rimini 3 years later to join part of Bologna University. It was a Techniques and Culture of Custom and Fashion BA H. course, I wanted to study fashion but having an open culture and view and it was just a perfect choice. My last year of studies I started to work as intern assisting Andrew Mackenzie high end designer for a while, it was as the beginning of my dream, Milan catwalk and all the work behind involved.
When I finished my studies in Rimini I decided to move to London to start some courses where some of my fashion guru as Galliano, Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo studied; St. Martins College of Art and Design. I did a couple of courses there and also to London College of Fashion, meantime I started to design on computer and to work as freelancer designer between Italy and UK. My last jobs made me also travel to China and Far East to develop collections. All of these changes have been a continuing learning experience.’
‘Slowly I reflected myself in a future vision of being a representative icon, avant-gardist just being myself delivering to an audience; simple elegance, sophisticated innovative and unique style, enlightening my vision to the world.
I believe that my vision of beauty and fashion reflect my own origins, my land of Campania in Italy and Phartenope; nature, lightness, beautiful simplicity, elegance femininity mixed with my daily living, an intense artistic social life, made of travels, music, positive vibes, great people and never stopping curiosity in discovering the new.’
‘Femininity starts transforming the idea of the t-shirts basic unisex object in something girly, timeless, sensual and jolly item in your wardrobe. Combining art and fashion giving a birth to something unique. I decided to print my fashion illustration, my art, on a white t-shirt as a white canvas, using high standard material and process to offering to the market a luxury basic item cared in all little details.
My fashion dolls, intangible tools to process my creation, through them I can see art coming alive, idea making its move… Pure and impure, clean and dirty, arty and chic, feeling and believes, this is fashion for me! A chic lady in a metropolitan city that dance on the sound of unusual rock music. Each illustration is a character with his own name. This represent a reflection of my actual believes mixed with my Italian culture.
Each piece is made in the UK, fair wear (ethical trade and justice for workers) and confidence in textile (tested for harmful substances), using 100% luxury cotton, with screen-printing illustration. The kind of garments you continuously rediscover, creating different outfits every season. Timeless pieces you will want to wear again and again.’
